Main inspiration for this song came from the essay titled "This is Water", written by David Foster Wallace. The essay makes the argument that we live our day-to-day lives in an innate default setting that's quick to judge and that it's up to us to be cognizant (enough) to realize that everyone has their own story - their own shit they're dealing with. That may not be the most eloquent phrasing but we accept the idea that there might actually be a "story" or reason why the "asshole" is driving too slow or why they haven't responded to your email in 2 days. If anything, asserting yourself in a position where everyone manages to piss you off over the most inane and inconsequential details is entirely too exhausting.
lyrics
My love, lay down your arms and be still
You are but just a piece of this whole
See this, this is only water...
That rises above the sound
And we are all just brothers
Lost at sea
(See) those weary hands paint the sky
Don't stare, lend them your ears if they sing
See this, this is only water...
That rises above the sound
And we are all just brothers
Lost at sea
If you hear their fury, hold your tongue
Don't let it grow
If you see their sadness through and through
You might find your own
'Cause this, this is water...
That rises above the sound
And we are all just brothers
Lost at sea

An unique compilation derived from a period of isolation in which all these great musicians and sound enthusiasts were able to experiment and create unique tunes to let the mind wander off into blissful oblivion. josedenoche

Moving In's stuff is perfectly melancholic, ethereal and yearns with the pain and confusion of that kind of unrequited love that everyone needs to experience before they find their true love. Blissful ❤️ Emmanuel Sackey
