about

"With this slab of abstract and levitating static ritualism Aidan Baker of Nadja (guitar, voice, drum machines) has teamed up with Lärmschutz AKA Thanos Fotiadis (drums, keys), and Rutger van Driel (trombone), to bring you on the most immaterial side of the experimental spectrum, through two massive movements of improv-based sonic sculpture within the realms of drone and free form. Both Spoor A and Spoor B seem to be played more by the pedals than by the instruments and you can almost imagine the band surrounded by a myriad of effects as through sapient knob abuse they slowly stretch and morph a single note or chord to its unthinkable limits, reaching the edge of the horizontal knowable, and then layer it moving upward toward vertical infinite. The result is a tri-dimentional hypercube of sound that envelops you and crushes your mind. Simply spectacular." - CVLT Nation
