Ah, yes...the "love song". What can I say? It was bound to happen. This was originally recorded as a gift for my now Wife for our 1 year anniversary of dating. I suppose it could be argued that this song solidified my chances of receiving the inevitable "yes". Musically, the song was first recorded with Marley on a piano accompaniment but we ended up ditching that idea to record this in the most intimate, stripped down way that technology and/or our abilities would allow. The best part about this song, however, is that it was recorded with a Martin D-28 that Marley bought and then returned for his money back once the track was recorded (sorry, Sales Guy).
lyrics
Oh my baby, may I call you "home"
That simple, safe place
Where I long to be?
Oh, my darling may I follow you
through night's satin veil
And into morning's birth to light?
You see, I've found my place
I was stolen for your side
I can see that no trial can deny
this wide eyed reverie
I won't walk alone
Now and forevermore
I can feel the sweet settling
Oh so deep within
Child, can you feel it too?
I've been asleep for so very long
But now I awake
To you warming song
You see, I've found my place
I was stolen for your side
I can see that no trial can deny
this wide eyed reverie
I won't walk alone
Now and forevermore
I can feel the sweet settling
Oh so deep within
Child, can you feel it too?

Moving In's stuff is perfectly melancholic, ethereal and yearns with the pain and confusion of that kind of unrequited love that everyone needs to experience before they find their true love. Blissful ❤️ Emmanuel Sackey
An unique compilation derived from a period of isolation in which all these great musicians and sound enthusiasts were able to experiment and create unique tunes to let the mind wander off into blissful oblivion. josedenoche
