This is about someone looking back at a defunct relationship and finally realizing that it was doomed from the start in the ultimate case of hindsight being 20/20. Both parties were too caught up in the "us against the world" mentality that they were too blind to see the crack(s) in the foundation, the leaky roof, increasingly frequent nights falling asleep next to a can of Kerosene with a lit cigarette at your fingertips, etc. Also, this was recorded on my Dad's 40+ year old 12-string, and for the record, finger-picking on a 12-string acoustic wasn't and isn't the easiest thing for me.
lyrics
I still lose myself in thoughts
Of the throne that lovers made
Thoughts we'd stay atop our world
Mocking those without a crown
Such reckless fools at home
Sitting in our house of straw
Ignoring wailing winds
That are knocking, knocking at our door
Oh my
Earnestly I beseech but to no avail
On my knees like a rambling fool
My root's too deep
And I swore I'd stay
You quiver, you bend, you flee the fight
Forsaken and tossed by the gale
I bellow and seek out your hand
You turn a deaf ear
You share a blind eye
How could you tuck tail and run?
Oh my

An unique compilation derived from a period of isolation in which all these great musicians and sound enthusiasts were able to experiment and create unique tunes to let the mind wander off into blissful oblivion. josedenoche

Moving In's stuff is perfectly melancholic, ethereal and yearns with the pain and confusion of that kind of unrequited love that everyone needs to experience before they find their true love. Blissful ❤️ Emmanuel Sackey
